Hi all, I've made some modifications to rsync, and now I'm able to compile the code with mingw under msys. The binary produced - a stripped down version of rsync seems to work correctly against rsync servers. Great! Next step is to support the --rsh option, ie start a new process with ssh and then redirect stdin/stdout to that process. I've made some code and I now have serious headache with CreatePipe(), PeekNamedPipe(), CreateProcess() and non-blocking I/O. Big fun. I'm trying to use the pre-compiled openssh-client shipped with msysDTK. Could someone recommend me some open source project that does this tunneling-thing under windows? Or some wise words like "do it like this" would speed up the process. Thanks! / magnus |
