I haven't taken the time to look at how to make the error pretty. I think it can be done but don't have the heart to look into it ATM. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Keith Marshall (keithmarshall) Date: 2007-10-19 05:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=823908 Originator: NO > I used RogerDPack and it threw an obscure error. Yes, the error message is infuriatingly obscure :( I didn't set this stuff up, but I believe it's just the phpWiki standard authentication module which is responsible. > Perhaps an error telling me what a wiki word is would > be nice :) Sure, if I knew how to make it do that :) FWIW, it needs two or more title case words, (initial capital, followed by one or more lower case letters), concatenated with no white space, but it doesn't allow two consecutive capitals; (I guess you've already figured that out). I normally use `KeithMarshall'; `KeithDMarshall' gives it a hissy fit, but spelling it out as `KeithDonaldMarshall' makes it ok again. > Thanks! You're welcome. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Roger Pack (rogerdpack) Date: 2007-10-19 04:36 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1691376 Originator: YES yep I used RogerDPack and it threw an obscure error. Perhaps an error telling me what a wiki word is would be nice :) Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Keith Marshall (keithmarshall) Date: 2007-10-19 04:34 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=823908 Originator: NO Works for me. You don't need to create a user account per se. You simply log in with any user name of your choice, but it *must* be in the form of a WikiWiki word; perhaps yours didn't meet that criterion. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=1816277&group_id=2435 |
