Category: w32api >Group: IINR - Include In Next Release >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Martin von Gagern (gagern) >Assigned to: Danny Smith (dannysmith) Summary: Constants DM_POSITION and DISP_CHANGE_BADDUALVIEW Initial Comment: Trying to write a small app to tweak display settings using ChangeDisplaySettingsEx, I ran into compiler problems that look a lot like missing constants. DM_POSITION should be 0x20 according to http://m00.cx/mpl/win32api.txt and DISP_CHANGE_BADDUALVIEW should be (-6) according to http://www.koders.com/csharp/fid7C35D7F7A628127DFB55F6D9DC7781BCF76FA56A.aspx and others. Google is your friend. :-) I used the GDI reference from microsoft at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/gdi/devcons_3tfc.asp which mentions these constants. I'm using Gentoo Linux and installed mingw using crossdev, which pulled in w32api-3.7. I don't know if this is the latest, but I definitely won't set up a cross compiler manually, and I have no Windows handy right now. So please handle this request even if it has not been checked against the latest version, since a simple grep will tell you whether the issue has been solved in the meantime. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Danny Smith (dannysmith) Date: 2006-10-04 22:03 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=11494 The problem you report has caused modification in some fashion in the official CVS for the given package. The w32api and mingw-runtime official CVS reside in the winsup CVS directory tree for Cygwin. Those package CVS trees are periodically merged into the MinGW CVS tree. If you still find problems then please open a new report. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martin von Gagern (gagern) Date: 2006-09-30 10:43 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=733620 I should have mentioned, in my MinGW headers, DISP_CHANGE_* are defined in winuser.h and DM_* in winuser.h and wingdi.h. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=1568067&group_id=2435 |
