HI, Keith!
I've seen your work at http://www.sourceforge.net, and it's really amazing!
You've put so much into MinGW, administrating the project.
I represent the team that developed Wrike.com. Wrike is a
new-generation, Web-based project management tool. We would never be
able to develop such a Web service without an open source
infrastructure available for free. We think that you are contributing
to one of the absolutely great open source projects. We also would
like to give something back to the community to support open source.
The idea for Wrike came from a need for an agile project management
tool to develop software. We just got tired of keeping and
transferring tasks and bugs everywhere from paper to bug-tracking
systems, from MS Project files to e-mail. Enterprise project
management tools didn't click with us, so that is why we decided to
develop a lightweight and agile tool to support all planning and
project management needs for a team or a small business. That's how
Wrike was born. Our tool integrates with e-mail transparently. We
designed Wrike so that it allows bug tracking the easiest possible
way: you make a screen shot, paste it into an email and send it to
tester. No need to open Paint, save files and so on. Wrike also allows
you to have a complete picture of several projects, integrate
requirements with tasks and bugs and have a simple version of a Gantt
chart.
Now that the tool is stable, we'd like to let the top open source
contributors use it for free. We really like what you are doing.
That's why we are contacting you personally. We do not offer a trial
subscription. We are giving away real professional versions. You tell
us how many users you need, and we will issue you an appropriate plan.
However, the offer is time-limited. We'll give you the
pro-subscription if you apply before the 3rd of September by
contacting us at support@...
P.S. Your projects don't have to be open source projects. In other
words, we do not want to limit your use of Wrike. You are free to use
it for commercial purposes with no strings attached.
Best regards,
Daria Petrova
