Hi, winres when invoked gives an illegal operation error something about an protected memory address and then freezes the desktop, nothing short of rebooting works and even that doesn't execute properly. I am using the mingw release from 6-8-2001 mingw-1.0 with the gcc patch. I thought this might be an interaction with other things so i tried it from a dos shell with only mingw and the system stuff in the path, same story. I haven't seen anyone post anything similar lately any ideas?
