If you go to http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=openssl-users, and enter mingw in the search place (subject), you will see the posted messages in our group. If you enter Oswald in author (search), you will see messages I have posted in our group as well. I just don't understand how that could happen?

Your mail client should have some method to allow you to view a full
list of headers. A review of those is what is needed to make the
determination of who sent what where. Typically, the spoofed headers
make no sense at all.
