We're working on a cross platform library which can be built with ming32 on windows platforms.
Unfortunately the gl.h header included in the current MinGW32 release lacks certain definitions which are part of the MS and SGI versions.
The SGI- gl.h is free (so it can be copied in whole or just part of it without explicit permission of SGI).
Is it safe to use it to and link with libopengl32.a from the mingw32 package (I'm thinking about including it in our build tree) ?
Or is there anyone of the mingw maintainers around who would like to replace the header in your distribution (if it is safe to use it) with something more compatible (there are similar problems building the fltk library for example) ?
