#289 wrong filesize display of ls(fileutils)

closed-fixed
MSYS (75)

No

The ls -s --size option displays only half of the actual size of the files. It
is most obvious with the command: ls -lhs
-h works right; -s does
not.
It seems to be a wrong implemenatation of mysys
because with native GNU/Linux fileutils and vfat(FAT32) file
systems file size display is correct.
This was tested with
Win98SE, FAT32 file system and MSYS-1.0.9-2003.02.12-1.exe

    Just to confirm that this is still an issue with:

    $ ls --version
    ls (fileutils) 4.1

    But is no longer an issue with:

    $ ./ls.exe --version
    ls (GNU coreutils) 5.97
    Copyright (C) 2006 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

    So basically, the new version of ls fixes the bug.
