#1028 bash.exe fails to find executables

$ bash --version
GNU bash, version 2.05b.0(1)-release (i686-pc-msys)
Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

I have a program (c2hs) which calls the C preprocessor. It is not being found:

$ ../mat
c2hs CMatrix.chs
'cpp' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
c2hs.exe: Error during preprocessing custom header file

but cpp is on the current path.

$ which cpp
/mingw/bin/cpp

This is not a problem with c2hs. This has been verified.

Cheers,

Vivian

    RTFM

    Or install 1.0.11 snapshot.

    I RTFM and could find no reference to this sort of problem.

    The only reason that bash.exe would not find an executable is that the binary isn't msys-1.0.dll dependent, located in /bin or /user/bin and msys-1.0.dll is version < 1.0.11.
