I have two things to ask you:
1st) Is this error I get whenever I try to build Perl (v5.16.2) it says: generate_uudmap.exe cannot start up because libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll is missing.
In your front page says that Perl has been built using mingw64, so I thought may be you might know where is the problem, I know the dll is in the mingw directory but I don't why it can't find it. I have tried building this Perl version on Windows XP and Windows 7 but I get the same result.
I noticed that in the toolchains targeting 64bit OS, different dlls are located in the bin directory. Would it be OK to copy the dll for the 32 bit OS mentioned above to the bin directory?
2nd) In your What do I want section it stays that the format the toolchains follow is:
<Target>[-Version]-<Src/Bin>-<Host>[-Cygwin Version]_<Date Code>[_personal tag].[extension]
Target: is the binary format the tool chain will generate.
Host: is the type of host that the toolchain you are downloading will run on.
Now, I don't know if this applies also for the binaries. Because for example inside this file mingw-w32-bin_i686-mingw_20111219.zip that is meant to create 32 bit binaries according to what I quoted previously, the binaries in the bin directory have the prefix i686-w64-mingw32, so the the target is correct but the host says for 64 bit OS instead of a 32 bit OS as the zip file states. Is it a typo? because the prefix for the binaries targeting 64 bit OS does comply with the mentioned format x86_64-w64-mingw32.
Thanks, I'll appreciate any help you could give me.
