Hi, I am a noob, and I have a lot of confusion on what folders to use. I have attached an image of the folders I see, the x86_64-w64-mingw32 has all of its own lib and bin folders. I am trying to use a utility called gnumex with matlab and I have to give it the correct path for the compiler and the libraries, but i dont know which ones to use. What is the difference?

also, I am trying to use GSL with mingw64 and I have installed it using msys and copied all the include .h files to basically every folder possible to try to get the header files recognized, but i still have had no luck.what else do i need to do to install gsl?

Use the exes in the top level "bin", don't touch anything else. Use only the "x86_64-w64-mingw32/lib", since you are not familiar with multilib. Copy your headers to the "x86_64-w64-mingw32/include" directory.
