Hello,
could you please tell me how to obtain sources for libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll and libgcc_s_seh-1.dll in the current mingw64 distribution? I would like to reditribute them and my undestanding is that libgcc is licensed under GPLv3.
Thank you,
Luboš Hemala
It is part of GCC, you may request it from which ever binary distribution you downloaded.
Ok, I installed them through msys2, so I suppose it is https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/files/Toolchains%20targetting%20Win32/Personal%20Builds/mingw-builds/6.2.0/threads-win32/sjlj/i686-6.2.0-release-win32-sjlj-rt_v5-rev1.7z/download and https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/files/Toolchains%20targetting%20Win64/Personal%20Builds/mingw-builds/6.2.0/threads-win32/seh/x86_64-6.2.0-release-win32-seh-rt_v5-rev1.7z/download ? Anyway, when I download these two files, should I just grab sources from gcc for version 6.2.0? I though they should be either in the archive with binaries or otherwise available.
I am having the same problem. I installed the package, but I was not able to run my program because the file libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll is missing. Please how can I get it?
libgcc is part of the GCC project. So you can find its sources either by gcc's project directly.
See https://gcc.gnu.org/ section "Source".
Actually we provide normally also sources of build gcc/binutils along with our binary packages. But there are other people in project, which can you point to the proper place in our file section. I admit that SF's file download section is - well to be polite - not intuitive in usage.
