    Hi,

I am trying to build Mindseye on a Slackware 8.1
system with gcc 3.1.  I have compiled all necessary
libs for Mindseye using gcc 3.1, and I get a parse
error before '>' in g_array.h on line 44.  I have also tried to use gcc 2.95.? but, then I get a very messy error which more than fills up my history.  Any help
    would be appreciated.

I also have this problem, but do not know why it doesn't like "public vector<void *>".  I tried adding a space before '<', but that didn't help.

Have you gotten anywhere with this?

what about using wxWidgets instead of QT, which also helps on multiplatformity?

one more question: is a default rendering to vectorial pictures (no raster embedded) planned to MindsEye? - rendering to svg sequences, animated swf, animated svg, ai sequences, etc. ? - this is a very lacking feature on proprietary 3d apps (Maya, Lightwave, 3dStudio) - this rendering for now just as wireframe is more than enough (it would save to vectorial-trace raster sequences with quality lost)
