#4 Primitives' vertex normals are wrong

For some primitives, most notably cones, vertex normals
don't look right - smooth shading shows edges which
shouldn't be there.
Maybe the primitive creation code is wrong or the
OpenGL display code is not produced correctly.
Sometimes the vertices also screw up, e.g. a sphere
sometimes looks very strange on first instatiation.

    Box, torus, and sphere seem ok now, the cone still doesn't
    look quite right to me.
