#6 Clie NR70V UI-problemss

On the NR70V the 4.1 OS doesn't seem to work quite
slowly BUT ...

The Fullscreen-Mode (480x320) is not taken care of =>
Heavy problems with apps in Hires+ (LauncherX).

Doesn't seem to work perfectly with TapPadHack, which
also simulates Pad which could be displayed on the
area.

VG would be appreciated especially when thinking of a
replacement of the TapPadHack.

Could you please be more specific with your comments? I'm
not familiar with the TapPadHack, NR70V, or hi-res models in
general. I have never tested MilliKeys on a hi-res model and
need as specific information as you can give...

Forget at the very moment about TapPadHack which is just an additional
DataInput Alternative like Silkyboard.

The NR70V has the ability
to deactivate the Graffiti-Area and to use this area as Drawing Area.
Therefore the Res. rise to 480x320.I don't think it's a matter of HighRes
(320x320) I more think you don't check if it's in 480x320. If so => Turn it
off.

You can easily get an POSE f. NR70V at
www.us.sonypdadev.com. Register, take some time then you can
download the NR-ROM. Without any problems you get the NX-Version
which are somehow similar, expcept NR (=OS 4.1.), NX (=OS 5.0,
ARM).

Looks like when I register at Sony's site, they want to take a
few days to manually verify my details before I get registered.

When they eventually get me registered I'll look into running
MilliKeys on the Clie... but I should point out my mucho school
work and possibly my Counter-Strike addiction take
precedence over developing for a machine I don't have :)
