Try LaTable, is a very simple program.. it does not provide fancy options
for making tables but can be helpful to do simple things like adding any
sort of horizontal and vertical lines, also joining cells and use diferent
alignments on each one.

Why hasn't this freeware been open sourced?
(Makes one worry about what may be installed.)
