I am trying to use Chicago to format my references. When I Texify the file in Winedt, MiKTeX stops when it enters the bbl file complaining that in the first entry \bibitem[\protect\citeauthoryear{Altonji and Segal}{Altonji and Segal}{1996}]{altonji96} \protect\cite... is an undefined control sequence. I can't figure out why the bbl file created by Chicago is generating what BibTeX thinks is undefined. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks. Carl Nelson University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign |

I presume that BibTeX created the bbl file using chicago.bst. But are you also using chicago.sty? That is, does your LateX file contain \usepackage{chicago}? Cheers, Phil |
