Since the latest update to various files (lots of runtime files, if I
recall), I'm no longer able to compile any file that
\includes other files - this problem occurs if I try compiling from the
command line, or from WinEdt (my usual working environment).
What happens is I get the following error
! I can't write on file `../chapter5/chapter5.aux'.
\@include ...\immediate \openout \@partaux #1.aux
Please type another output file name:
I can compile any .tex file fine that *doesn't* use include, but 100% of
the files I've tried that have \include no longer compile. (And these
are files that compiled absolutely without problem earlier this morning
- no other changes other than the MikTeX update).
