I am newbie to MikTeX...I am facing problem in font installation. I copied =
all the tfm(s) and PFB(s) in /texmf/fonts/tfm and /texmf/fonts/type1 direct=

are not embeding in PS file whereas kpsewhich command is able to search the=

You should not modify psfonts.map directly anymore - your changes will
be lost. Create/use a map file for your new font. Please read the manual:
If the problem still persists after using updmap, please give us more
info - what font, are you using latex+dvips or pdflatex, any messages
for the programs (in the DOS prompt or log file) ...
PS! Stuff that you install yourself should go into the local texmf
tree so it's not lost when you update your MiKTeX.
