first of all, Hans, thank you for the RTFM on the dll-Problem.
"initexmf --mklinks" did the trick.
However, I'm still not up and running. We're using the font
"Futura" in our user manual and after the update, miktex
complains that the font cannot be found. The font files are still
where they were when it last worked:
- in "C:\localtexmf\fonts\afm\ms\futura" there are files
recfutural.afm, recfuturali.afm, recfuturam.afm,
recfuturami.afm (for light, light-italic, medium,
medium-italic, I suppose)
- in "C:\localtexmf\fonts\tfm\ms\futura" a number of
files "ecfutura*.tfm" as well as "recfutura*.tfm"
- in "C:\localtexmf\fonts\vf\ms\futura" a number of files
I tried to RTFM http://www.miktex.org/manual/psfonts.html but
"initexmf --mkmaps" did not help. Also, out of desperation, I
tried another run of "initexmf --update-fndb", but still pdflatex
cannot find the font files.
BTW, "initexmf --mklinks" returned "eomega not found". I don't
know what this means, is it related to my Futura font problem?
Any suggestions? Thank you for your patience.
