Thank you. It turns out that the registry (on the computer giving me trouble with Yap) was missing the entries for Yap. Once I put them in, Yap worked fine. (I did not want to reinstall a new MikTex because I use MikTex on 3 computers and I didn't want to have different versions of MikTex on different computers.) Thanks again. I have an empty list too and I know I haven't been messing with inverse search. Regards, Hans |

I recently installed the latest version of MiKTeX on a new computer and I see that on the Inverse Search tab of the Yap Options the Program list is empty. As I recall, it used to offer several useful options, including one that invoked gnuclientw for use with GNU Emacs. I have entered gnuclientw -q +%l "%f" By hand in the Command line box instead, which seems to work. Can anyone who has a version of Yap that displays this as a standard option confirm that it is correct, please? Has anyone else noticed the blank Program: list? I'm not sure whether it is a new policy decision, a bug, or something that I have screwed up. Thanks, Francis |

A very similar post when just on the list - read http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=4229252&forum_id=10537 Using the MiKTex search page helps a lot - http://www.miktex.org/search.html Regards, Hans |
