> Visio is Ok? Like Alan I too am fond of Mayura (www.mayura.com) - Its easy to use, with no frill tools and generates clean (compact) eps files. My previous experience with the Visio EPS filter was creepy, but it depended a lot on the type of graphic construction. > What I trying to do is doing the pictures with the same letter than > the rest of the text. > I think that the default letter in Miktex is "Helvet". The default letter in Miktex, as with most (La)Tex implementations, is Computer Modern but that is a bit irrelevant as the package PSFRAG will do what you are looking for: replace the text within an EPS graphic by whatever LaTex construction you want. I advise you to insert only unformatted pure text strings in the drawing to minimize the probability of psfrag not finding them (most drawing packages split the strings to "better" achieve the desired formatting options). You can, and should, use the MikTex Package Manager to install psfrag. > If I have to use another font to the text in the picture seems > like the rest of the text let me know. To psfrag, the font used in the eps drawing is irrelevant - what it looks for is the string and then just replaces it. BTW, psfrag is probably one of the best ways of creating multilanguage graphics allowing for easy translations of legends. HTH best regards, raul carneiro martins |
