No need to reset the margins, that is difficult anyway. Simply move
the tabular with \vspace*{-0.5in} up and \hspace*{-1.5in} to the
right. It you have a table environment, you should do this commands in
the environment. You can also use \enlargethispage to get more place
at the bottom.
