Hello, =20 =20 I have no problem with your example. I think it is the same problem = Hans answer last week : =20 The defaults for embeding is set in updmap.cfg - set = dvipsDownloadBase35, pdftexDownloadBase14 and dvipdfmDownloadBase14 to true if you want to = avoid problems with AR using it's own fonts. Read http://www.miktex.org/manual/psfonts.html#chgupdmapcfg =20 Hans =20 So the best is to edit your updmap.cfg in your localtexmf =20 E:\localtexmf\miktex\config is my path for this file and I have the following content: map dingbest.map dingbest FFDingbests <dingbest.pfb dvipsDownloadBase35 true pdftexDownloadBase14 true dvipdfmDownloadBase14 true =20 The 3 last line are important for your problem. =20 Best regards =20 Pierre =20 -----Message d'origine----- De : mik...@li... Objet : [MiKTeX] Printing error using \widehat{} and \widetilde{} in the limits of \int^{}_{} =20 Hi: =20 I have printing problems (pdf) with the following code: =20 \begin{equation} \int_{\widetilde{A}}^{B} \end{equation} =20 (The complete code is at the end of the email.) =20 The printer says =93An error occurred while downloading a font. This = document might not print correctly.=94, and in the printout the hat and the tilde disappear from the limits of the integral. This error only occurs if I = do dvi_latex-->dvi2pdf (winedt), and does not occure if I do pdflatex. = (Because of another unrelated issue I need to do the pdf in 2 steps.) =20 Also note that this problem does not exist if I use \tilde{} in the = limits of the integral, or if I use \widetilde outside the limit of the integral. =20 Any guess? Is there a way to tell dvi2pdf to insert the fonts so the = printer does not have to download them? =20 Thanks for your help, =20 Herman =20 \documentclass[letterpaper, 12pt]{article} \usepackage{calc}=20 \usepackage{bbm} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{amsthm} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{paralist} \usepackage[width=3D0.92\textwidth,font=3Dsmall,labelfont=3Dbf]{caption} \usepackage{ulem} \usepackage{array} \usepackage{dsfont} \usepackage{cancel} \usepackage{fancybox} \usepackage{tipa} \usepackage{amssymb} =20 \begin{document} $\widehat{A} \widetilde{A}$ (This is ok) \begin{equation}\label{} \int_{\widetilde{A}}^{\widehat{A}}\end{equation} \end{document} =20 =20 =20 ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
