The Windows Explorer program > gives the pathname to Miktex, and I'm sure it's not using Hi Eric and all the others How do you get this behaviour? I'm using Miktex (of course) with Win XP. Since I'm using Winedt I don't have to give file names, I only need to click a button - like Windows users want to do :-) - in order to latex or pdflatex any document. The question how Miktex and/or LaTeX interact with Windows and how are they linked remains. Do you have any hints where I can learn more about this or how can one customize/set the behaviour of Win Explorer regarding Miktex? Best Regards, Henning Haida |
