I'm not about to open your attachment, so this response may be irrelevant.  If the file you're LaTeXing is called foo.tex, then the built-in command

 

          \jobname

 

will evaluate to

        foo

 

I don't see why it shouldn't do the right thing inside a footnote, though I haven't check.
