Hi Christian,

texify does not bibtex when referencing another file
via \include{file}, only \input{file} works. This is
annoying for multi-document-editing.

See example files in texify.tgz:
bib.bib - the bib file
text.tex - the main LaTeX file
stubinput.tex - shows that \input causes bibtex to be
invoked by texify
stubinclude.tex - shows that \include does not cause
bibtex to be invoket by texify.

That feature isn't supported at the moment.

    Hi Christian,

why not allow texify to handle \include in the same way as
    \input?

Texify doesn't evaluate any \include statements. The point
    is: if you run

    texify stubinput.tex

then all stubinput.tex contains all the references. Whereas

    texify stubinclude.tex

creates two .aux files (text.aux and stubinclude.aux).

I see. Maybe somewhen in future...
