Is there any way to programatically determine the present value of

```max_print_line
```

in MiKTeX, i.e., the

```max_print_line
```

that's in force during a compile, or, if not that value, the environmentally
defined value? For comparison, I can achieve this via

```\input"|kpsewhich -var-value=max_print_line"
```

in TeX Live, but am unable to take this approach on a MiKTeX platform since
MiKTeX's

```kpsewhich
```

offers a highly reduced set of the usual

```kpsewhich
```

command line options.

Aaargh. Sorry about my terrible use of the Codify Text tag. Many apologies!
