A problem that I've noticed fairly recently is that
Texify seems to fail when it invokes bibtex. When the
bbl does not exist, texify stops after the first
compilation. If it exists but the aux file does not
have the appropriate citations, texify fails with an
error. Only when both the bbl file is there and the
aux file is up to date, will texify complete.
I am using MikTeX 2.1 under windows NT SP6. The time
stamp on texify is: 22 October 2001
