#2546 miktex dll-Problem after last update

1. After the last update three days ago in a miktex version using the miktex next repository the newer updates dont work (see the error message and log file), but these dlls are in the asked directory.

2. If I try to work with latex/xetech/pdflatex (from winedt) it brings the error message that dlls are missing, especially MiKTeX209-next-popt.dll, next-libressl-crypto.dll and next-expat.dll. These dlls are missing in the directory if I control with explorer.

I had problems after an update of miktex next thursday evening too. A lot of dll where missing and the mpm-GUI didn't start anymore. On friday I could repair it by first creating a list of the packages with

 mpm --repository-release-state=next --list >packagelist.txt

and then installing all the missing miktex packages (starting with lzma, zzip etc) one by one with

mpm --repository-release-state=next --install=<package>

Now it works fine.

Imho the problem was due to a timing problem in the repository: On thursday quite a number of packages were removed but the needed replacements appeared in the repository only on friday morning.

Because the missing miktex209-next-jpeg/png.dll problem still exist I installed miktex new. After switching to the experimental packages (I had to do to use luatex) the same problem occurs

The package manager claims that miktex209-next-png.dll, miktex209-next-jpeg.dll and miktex209-next-gd.dll are in the packages miktex-png-bin, miktex-jpeg-bin, miktex-gd-bin and the 64bit versions in miktex-png-bin-x64, miktex-jpeg-bin-x64, miktex-gd-bin-x64. All three .dll are in all three packages, so installing one of the packages should be enough. I have the dll in my bin folder and I seemed to have installed the png package as last package so I'm probably using the versions from this one.

I think, this solution is not applicable to "MiKTeX209-pdftex.dll", is it? - After an update today, this DLL is not found available any more on my system.
