When installing MiKTeX 2.9.5721 32-bit on Windows OS for either all users or just myself, when I select the paper size from A4 to Letter and the package installation behavior from "Ask Every Time" to "Always Install On The Fly", clicking "Next" reverts both selections to the respective defaults. The dropdown menus on the previous page are not reset. After installation, the paper size is A4, and the package installation behavior is "Ask Every Time".

I also experience the same problem with 64 bit setup-2.9.5721-x64.exe on Win 7.

In addition, if a non-fully-qualified directory is requested as the download dir, it is no longer possible to go "back" in the installation. (That might or might not be a different bug.)

This appears to be a reversion of bug #1436.
