#2182 Another bug in mathdesign package

Fonts (73)

After upgrading the mathdesign package to its latest version, if I try to compile this file:

---------- test.tex ----------
Hello World!

then I get this error:

("C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.9\tex\latex\mathdesign\mdbcmr.fd") [1{C:/Documents
and Settings/C/Local Settings/Application Data/MiKTeX/2.9/pdftex/config/pdftex.

Running miktex-makemf.exe...
miktex-makemf: The md-chr8y source file could not be found.
Running ttf2pk.exe...
miktex-makepk: PK font md-chr8y could not be created.

!pdfTeX error: pdflatex (file md-chr8y): Font md-chr8y at 600 not found

I cannot reproduce this one. It seems that the map file is out-of-date. It should contain this line:

    md-chr8y CharterBT-Roman "TeXnANSIEncoding ReEncodeFont" <texnansi.enc <bchr8a.pfb

Running updmap (as suggested by Paul Pichaureau) solved my problem. Thanks a lot.
