No

I started setup-2.5.2412.exe and it works fine until:
(I started it a few times, hoping the error would
disappear, so the packages are already present)

I monitored C:\ and could not find such a directory.

Could it bei a hardcoded directory in the source-code?

Thanks for any help!

Are you kidding? You are downloading into directory
S:\dowloads\mik25net. Make sure that only one instance
    of the setup wizard runs.

Thanks for your immediate help! I could not imagine that the
installer loads itself a second time

Ahem, does it mean the problem is solved now? Were you
    able to download/install everything?

Yes! The download completed successfully! I moved the
setup.exe out of the download-directory before starting it.
After the download has completed, a new setup.exe ist in the
    download directory.

Installing went smooth (all packages were succesfully
extracted) until config starts (initexmf) - but this may be
caused by my experiences with setupwiz.opt

    I will try a standard-installation tomorrow.

    Standard-Installation works properly.

I have fixed the license file issue. Thanks for the report.
