[Midpath-general] turn my midlet into an applet

I just came across that project and wonder if it fits to my needs.
As i understood midpath exposes the j2me api to the javase platform. Thus
makes it possible to run j2me applications on my desktop.

I wonder if it is possible to turn my midlet into an applet that can be run
by any standard sun javase runtime?

What to you think?
