hello... deal all
it seems that almost nobody disscussed here recent
years, but i still need to overcome this problem. can
anybody give me some suggestions. all kind of
suggestions will be appreciated.

the problem is given as following:

when i get into the x window of the midori, my x window
is distorted and the screen appears two x windows at
the same time. the current resolution is 720x400.

i have tried to change the XF86config, but it only works
while i using "vga" driver, the resolution 640x480 and 8
depth. otherwise, it will fail to get into x window.

in addition, i have also tried to use the "vesa" driver, but
no matter what resolution and colors it will fail to get
into x window.

as this problem, i have tried the "vga" and "vesa" driver
that exsit in the midori to place on Red Hat 7.2.

the "vga" driver works same with midori. the "vesa"
driver can work in particular combinations of resolution
and depth. so i think that these drivers (vga and vesa)
in the midori are good.

in addition, the hardware is ok since the RedHat 9 can
be displayed correctly.

so, can anybody give me some suggestions. thanks...

william
