I don't really know how to explain my idea but here
goes. Could it be possible for a group to develop a
porable laptop device which would use the crusoe
processor, and have Midori on a flash-rom drive? This
would (i think, I'm still learning about hardware
aspects) allow for the OS to still be upgradeable but
it wouldn't take up harddisk space, wouldn't be
majorly affected by viruses (with the limited amount
for Linux), harddrive crashes, etc. If I'm correct it
would also allow (with some addition) for people who
have had thier hard disk crash on such a system to
still operate thier machine (without thier data, but
it would still be there). This probably isn't new, but
I saw info on th Crusoe and Midori and decided to
post. (i haven't actually read to much about either,
just enough to have a basic understanding of both).
Hopefully you understand my idea. Thanks.
