RedHat 7.0 needed a major bullet through the head: it was
*not* ready for production when it was released. Upgrade
immediately to 7.1, at least, before trying to do serious
OS or kernel work of any kind. I'm about to start trying
this with 7.2 from RedHat, and will be happy to post my
results. The beta3 documents claim that it has been
successfully done with 7.1: I hope that no big issues have
been introduced with 7.2.

edit cache/build/mlinstall/build line
455 to remove the -E switch to mkcramfs.
mkcramfs incorrectly exits with error 8
when a warning is encountered, such
as truncating GIDs.
(worked on RH-7.2).

i can confirm that midori is almost fine under redhat 7.2
however you will encounter a bug while building the glibc
texi documentation. I cannot remember the line number the
error is on but one quick fix is to take the error location,
edit the file in the /cache/build directory like so:
error reports the line contains: "(,,,)"
change this to: "(Top,,,)"
for both lines the error occurs on.
