I've sent email twice to Wess Williams as stated in the docs in order to participate MP4 development. The first direct email (to wesw@sourceforge.net) fails and the second one through service provided by sourceforge doesn't seem to be responded. I'd like to join, but how?

Only one mail got to me. I'm afraid I have been out of action for the last two months because of a death in my family, so my work on MP3 has been stopped until now.
At the moment I don't have anything that I could delegate, as translating the compiler is half way done, and it would be very difficult to pass on anything in an understandable manner. I suspect the beta work is similar.
If you want to help out, you could try writing a help file for the beta!

Btw, when releasing the 3.0 compiler source code I set a directory structure in the SVN repository easy to understand for everyone (many MP users are not used to SVN common practices), so when you can restart your MPC 4.0 development and want to release something via SVN check this folder structure I'm suggesting (if someone has a better idea let me know, I have no preference).
