First, thanks to Vaidy's hard work and especially opening its source which makes everything in this post possible !
I am beginning to teaching myself piano and I learned that memorizing a sheet music could be very beneficial. I found a gem when I saw MidiSheetMusic, and was exhilarated when I found it is open-source. I spent a couple of months building a "memorization mode" from its source.
After that I made a new UI to match the visual style of the Quiz Mode.
MidiSheetMusic Memo may contain some bugs as of today (2014/06/04), and I'll be adding some more features along the way, so it may undergo a series of updates in the following weeks.

Of course, my spin-off is also open-source. You can get the source code here.
