The midi in/out are empty because the computer is not plugged to my keyboards. I realise that I forgot to ask you something very important in my last message. Hi! Sorry for the delay. Sometimes it is not easy to manage all the stuff. So, I read carefully your suggestions, in my opinion all the suggestions are a plus to the MidiLayer. So, I assume that you are using the windows or linux version. I'm asking that because I'm thinking about abandoning the development for Mac O.S. I'm the only one maintaining the MidiLayer, so you'll still have to wait a while until I have some time to do that. I'm working on that. A MidiLayer with 4 virtual in ports and 4 virtual out ports is been tested (will be 8 MIDI slots available). If you can, you could compile the code from git repository. All feedback are welcome. Happy new year!

On windows you have the same problem, but you can solve it by changing "High DPI settings" in "Compatibility Settings"

OK, this is actually a very handy program. Let me explain my usecase : I recently got my hands on some old 90's midi stuff : some roland and yamaha drums and keyboards/synths, and a soundcanvas. What better to do than to install winuae, and relive old commodore amiga times. So I configured winuae, and installed Bars and Pipes Professional. Excellent piece of software! The problem with winuae, is that you can only access one midi controller. I can use that to access my external instruments, but I...

I confirm it is still reproducible on Linux Mint 20. I have a hidpi display and the text scaling factor set to 1.5, the text is clipped. I fixed it by launching with QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1.5 QT_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTORS=1.5 /path_to_MidiLayer-0.4.3-x86_64/MidiLayer-0.4.3

Looking at the code, I don't really see a linux makefile. Otherwise I could try to compile it myself and see if I can run it on a RPI. Regards, Didier.

This is not properly a isse. The project is not abandoned. There has been no help from other programmers and although there are many downloads, there are also no donations (0). So it is not abandoned, it is just stopped.
