#1 unresolved makro _divert_diversion

When trying to compile midgard-php4 on SuSE 7.3 make
gives me the output:
"unresolved makro _divert_diversion
update your aclocal.m4 by running aclocal"
This doesn't solve the problem, ./configure went
smoothly without any errors. What is wrong and how can
I fix it???
