The following MICR:

c001468c d026010757d 143804c b0000012090b 543

Should not be considered proper MICR because of the
"543" after the amount field.

This is currently accepted as proper MICR.

See attached unit test,
"testWithAuxOnUsWithAmountAndCharsAfterParseMicr()"
