- Official Microtransat SourceForge page with Linux/POSIX code for an Iridium 9601/2 Short Burst Data modem, code to automatically trigger a SPOT tracking device, the Tracksail-AI simulator and a Java based route planning program.
- Protei aims to create open source sailing robots for cleaning up oil spills and is publishing all code and designs under an open source license.
- The University of Lübeck's code page They have published code for their World Server which was used during the 2011 World Robotic Sailing Championships to exchange and display live data of the positions of all boats. They have also published their boat's controller code written in AVR-C, a Bluetooth gateway program and an Android boat control system.
- The AberSailBot Team's Github Page This student team from Aberystwyth University have released their boat's source code for a Raspberry Pi/Arduino control system, a pure Arduino based control system, a Java based route planning and telemetry system and a designs for the sails from their 2 metre long racing boat.
- The Magellan Machine's Github Page This team have published their robot's control system source code.
- YachtSim An open source simulator written in C# and based on Tracksail.
- Beoga Beag's Github Page Open Source software and boat designs for the Beoga Beag autonomous sailboat.
