Like Recording device on kX drivers for sound blaster cards.
Just don't showing such devices in list.

This is kind of a round about way to fix it but you could download manycam, and set the mic on manycam to the one you want. Then on micmute set manycam as the mic. Should work.

Any updates on this?
I have an Audio Technica to Focusrite Solo Gen 3 and my MicMute will not detect it. In windows, I can set it to favorite/default/etc... but not visible to MicMute.

Just not tested with line devices at all.
And sorry, it's MicMute, not LineMute! =)
