Why stop there? I play a bunch of VR games and myself and other gamers agree we would love to see a push to talk system that could be used with general Windows Recording device, but mappable to any button. Joystick, motion control or mouse.
I can see this utility exploding on Reddit and the VR community if we could only control those microphones in our HMD's.

I would also love to see this as an option, as my keyboard is too loud to use this without being heard, and the whole idea is silence. I tried to find where the value is stored, but registry and program files didn't find the solution.
