But the XML data within MPF is not valid against the schema (identical =
with the schema stored on the Michael homepage). For instance there is no =
element standards-group for digital-collections in the schema.

[michael-impl] MPF installation

Dear all,

I have difficulties to install mpf.

When I try the url

http://localhost:8080/mpf/

I will get an error page Login.htm.

The cause: org.xmldb.api.base.XMLDBException: configuration error

Maybe I must add to my conf/server.xml something like

<Realm className="org.xmldb.api.base.XMLDB...."/>?

Five types of records can exist. The root elements are:

digital-collection
physical-collection
institution
service
project

What is "vast amounts of mem" exactly?

Hi,

I work in the swedish KMM project, and I'm testing michael.

I have a clear problem with the mpf.zip of  2006-07-03 06:46

It consumes vast amounts of cpu & mem, I am using a ubuntu dapper, all
updates aplied.

Should it really be so memory hungry or do I have something
fundamentally wrong in my server-config?

Of course not asking you how to config the server as such, just
wondering if its normal that it bogs down the entire (3G dual-cpu)
system?
