FastICA is the only reason that the library IT++ is required. To get rid of this dependency it should be re-implemented by using GSL. A later submission of the implementation to the GSL library might also be considered.

Replacing the use of the IT++ FastICA implementation by a new implementation will make the software behave differently from the published motion compensation algorithms.
