I'm also having problems connecting to IRM from MHD on RH Linux 7.1 / Apache 1.3.27 / PHP2.3.2 /DBD-mysql-2.1020 / DBI-1.18

I've setup a user named jsmith in both MHD and IRM with the same password but get the message "Bad username password." when trying to access irm via "Computers->Connect to IRM".

I'm using IRM Version 1.4.0, build (2002051502) and mhd-0.5.6-p1 on my machine.  I just installed the software for the first time and I haven't managed to get it configured yet.  I don't know if the same thing happens when not in admin mode.
