The attached screenshot shows a line in my Folder buffer for a message that was posted to the Emacs bug tracker. Notice that there is some whitespace between the author's truncated name and the "]". What's more important is that the "]" hides the "b" in "bug". (The actual subject is "bug#51852: Gnus: Add User-Defined Spec example".) This is with Emacs 28.1, Athena widgets.
