Roundhouse Project Absorbed By Shoptick

The Roundhouse project has not been maintained on SourceForge for some time now. We have moved the source code to an external repository over a year ago and have recently folded it into a larger project called Shoptick, a modular CRM/ERP system based on Roundhouse. Persons interested in learning more about the Roundhouse project should visit Shoptick's public web site is located at http://www.shoptick.com.

Back In Action

After a brief lull, work is finally continuing with Roundhouse. The source will be moved to our own SVN repository in the next few weeks with anonymous access details made available on the project home page.

We plan to have our first real release ready by fall and we'll do fresh meat and the whole bit.

1.0 Release Delayed

We've decided to hold the 1.0 release of Roundhouse in order to migrate all the code to use the kennewickdoclet for generating it's mapping classes. This will allow us to provide an alternate war based distribution that runs without EJB support. It also gives us time to finish the Content Management module and include it in the first binary.

Gearing Up for 1.0 Release

All we're really waiting on at this point is completion of the Developers Guide, an installation guide, and expansion of the auto-initialize feature to automagically create users and portal layouts.

Renamed Database Tables

At the request of some of our corporate users, we've changed all Roundhouse database tables to begin with RH_. This will break everything, so please sync up and be warned.
